The Hydrating Caffeinated Eye Cream Meg Stalter Slathers on Religiously To Help Her Look—and Feel—More Awake
When Meg Stalter is creating a character, makeup is a huge part of the process. "If I'm doing my own video and dressing my own character, I imagine how would they get ready and then I get ready like they would," says the comedian and actor, who you may recognize from her (side-splittingly hilarious) role on Hacks. "I choose wilder choices when I'm doing a character because I like to play someone that's a little unhinged. " While she loves piling on fun colors and bold eyeliner, she knows that skin care is the most important part of her beauty routine. So on her makeup-free days, she's slathering on a caffeinated Neutrogena eye gel cream all day long.
"I'm really in love with the Hydro Boost+ Caffeine Eye Gel," says Stalter. " It's a little pick-me-up and I use it about eight times a day. I hope that's not bad that I'm using it that much—I think the only bad thing is that it will run out fast but then I can buy more."
Because the Neutrogena Hydro Boost+ Caffeine Eye Gel Cream ($22) has a gel-cream formula, it's able to deliver lightweight moisture. It's got caffeine to constrict blood vessels around the eyes, decreasing puffiness and helping them look more alive. Plus, it's got hyaluronic acid and peptides to plump and smooth fine lines both instantly and over time. It's one of the many HydroBoost products that Stalter keeps in her rotation.

"Even before this, partnership with Neutrogena, I was so obsessed with the HydroBoost collection," says Stalter. "I have very dry skin, especially living in LA.
The HydroBoost Mask ($4) is another one of her go-to's. "Sometimes to boost my mood, I'll put one in the freezer for a couple of minutes so it's not fully frozen, and then put it on and it feels so amazing."
She also loves the HydroBoost+ Niacinamide Serum ($25). "I have pretty dry skin and that's why I the HydroBoost+ Serum," says Stalter. It's made with 10 percent niacinamide to soothe skin and hyaluronic acid to moisturize and temporarily plump.
"And then once a week, I'll use the night peel ($29)," she says. "It transforms your skin and you wake up feeling so fresh and glowy and that's really what I'm looking for in products. Also, it makes my skin-care routine really easy because I just use that and then I use one of those ice rollers on top of the serum and it feels really amazing."
