In One Month, This Lifting Neck Cream Has Helped To Correct the Creases on My Neck
When you're looking down at your screen all day and live in the body of a human woman who hasn't figured out a way to defy gravity, you may develop what is sometimes referred to as "tech neck." This is basically when your neck is downturned so much by typing on your device of choice that you deal with not only aches and pains, but fine lines, too. I wear SPF every day. I use lotion all over. I exfoliate. But I check my emails in bed and scroll through my Instagram feed sporadically throughout the day—and all of this has done a number on my décolletage.
As it turns out, I'm not alone. Plenty of folks experience fine lines on their neck—and there's a reason why we usually notice neck aging first. "The neck is easily exposed to the environment and gravity. The skin there doesn't have the same amount of sebaceous or oil glands that the face does, and it can age faster than the face," Purvisha Patel, MD, a board-certified dermatologist and founder of Visha Skincare, previously explained.
The solution? Keep your neck as moisturized as possible—and that means getting yourself some products that specifically cater to your neck's well-being and that stop wrinkles and fine lines before they develop. "The neck requires more moisture and constant sun protection since fewer oil glands are there to protect the skin. You want to look for skin-care ingredients to tighten and hydrate," said Dr. Patel. My current go-to? Juice Beauty Stem Cellular Lifting Neck Cream.

Combined with my regular SPF, Juice Beauty neck cream checks off all the boxes: It tightens and moisturizes, and makes my neck feel smoother and silkier throughout the day (I apply in the morning *and* at night). Its ingredients include a fruit punch of botanical extracts like algae and resveratrol to tighten skin by helping boost cell turnover rate; vitamin E and squalane to help with texture; vitamin C to fight dark spots; and a blend of essential oils, which help rev up elastin production. The formula also contains aloe vera for hydration; green tea to fight inflammation; and peptides, to help the skin stay firm.

So... Does it actually work?
I've been using Juice Beauty neck cream for about a month now, and it's helped smooth out the creases that have developed over the years (is there a correlation between how long I've owned a smartphone and the number of lines on my neck? Probs). Don't get me wrong—this cream didn't just melt away all signs of aging and poor posture, but my skin feels more supple and bouncy. I feel like if I continue to use it, I'll only see better and better results. I've also been trying to work on lifting my neck more as I work and scroll, which is a lot harder than I thought it would be, TBH.
Reviewers are with me on the lifting cream's efficacy. One writes, "LOVE this product. I've tried at least half a dozen neck creams and none has made any difference until I found this one. It's pricey, yes, but it's honestly worth every penny. I've seen a quick and dramatic improvement in the texture and lines ('tech neck) on my neck. This will definitely be a repurchase for me. I wish it were fragrance-free (I prefer fragrance-free for all skincare), but the scent is nice and not obtrusive." (I for one love the citrusy, apple scent.)
Another left a review saying, "I have bought this product repeatedly for its benefits, especially around the neck and chest area. It smells good and goes a long way!"
