Kacey Musgraves Wore These Podiatrist-Approved Combat Boots at Her Concert—Snag the Exact Same Pair
Podiatrist-approved shoes are the footwear equivalent of dresses with pockets, in that they combine style and practicality—and when someone compliments you on them it's impossible not to respond lauding said practical detail. And, yes, podiatrist-loved shoe brands can be stylish; I submit Kacey Musgraves' combat boots into evidence. During a concert on her Star-Crossed: Unveiled tour, Musgraves wore Dr. Scholl's Hudson Combat Boots ($140-$170). Her stylist, Erica Cloud, shared some snaps on Instagram of Musgraves' entire look, which also featured an Adam Selman Sport track jacket and cargo track pant set, and a sparkly jeweled bikini top by CRISTAHLEA. Just in case you were wondering.
IMHO, you're more than just a little justified in wanting to get a pair a these boots for yourself. The brand is frequently recommended by podiatrists because Dr. Scholl's make shoes that provide the right amount of cushion and arch support your feet need, plus other products like massagers and orthotics that help keep your feet healthy. These boots actually have the brand's insole technology, with anatomical cushioning, comfort and support, built in. So, yeah, these boots are both really cute and really comfortable. The style is also more streamlined than some recent iterations of the combat boot, which can go heavy on the chunky heels and hardware, keeping things simple with a lace-up silhouette. The style is incredibly versatile, pairing well with everything from sweaters to dresses and effortlessly shifting between seasons.
This beige suede color is the one that Musgraves wore during her concert, and we love how versatile it is (the color and style).
The boots are also sustainably-made; the lining, topcloth, and heel counter are made from recycled materials, the midsole from plant-based foam, and dyed using water-saving techniques. The suede and leather are also responsibly sourced through the Leather Working Group, a non-profit organization that represents responsible leather sourcing.
