A Bra Brand Beloved by Women With D+ Cups Just Released a New, Sporty Option
The notion of a comfortable bra used to be an oxymoron. I'm personally on the lookout at all times for hygge-appropriate bras that are also supportive, and given the double-D gals I'm tasked with hoisting up, it's no simple task. So, what the intimates company Knix has created is borderline magical: seamless and wireless bras that are overwhelmingly popular with the D-cup-and-up crowd. (Seriously, a brand rep told me it owes 70 percent of its bra sales to these sizes.) And Knix just released a new sports bra designed to be just as comfortable and size-inclusive as its other cult-favorite options.
The Racerback Evolution Bra is available online for $55 and in sizes from S to XXL (AKA, DD). The bra—made with moisture-wicking, quick-dry, and anti-odor fabric—is meant to function as an everyday essential and as a medium-impact sports bra (think yoga and barre). It's offered in black or white as well as in two limited-edition colors, desert sand and grey truffle.
When Knix launched in 2013, it offered sizes 0 through 22 right off the bat, and a rep told me the company has featured 600 actual customers in its campaigns.
And while this new addition to the offerings is a supportive and comfortable win for your intimates drawer, size inclusivity is nothing new for the brand: When Knix launched in 2013, it offered sizes 0 through 22 right off the bat, and the rep told me the company has featured 500 actual customers in its campaigns. Given this plus its dedication to wireless comfort and support, Knix's bras just might be a universal intimates option for women, which is a pretty novel thing in today's market.
