Laverne Cox Joins the Beyhive for the New Ivy Park Collection
"It feels amazing that I get to be a part of this brand that has already inspired me."
According to Queen Bey, this latest campaign reflects one vision: celebrating the beauty and strength found in uniqueness. "True beauty and power are born out of strength of character and defined from the inside out. There is no one standard of beauty," Beyoncé said in a press release.
Cox—along with dancer-choreographer Karen McDonald and models Grace Bol and Ralph Souffrant—couldn't be more excited to bring her vision to life.

“To be honest, it doesn’t feel real,” Cox told People. “It feels like some weird fantasy that I’ve had since Destiny’s Child. It feels amazing that I get to be a part of this brand that has already inspired me and be working with a woman who has especially been a huge inspiration to me and so many folks around the world.”

This campaign—with a message the world totally needs right now—proves Beyoncé is still woke as ever, and she has her coven of strong women in formation to support her. Between the Orange Is the New Black star, Serena Williams—and her new baby!—and Michelle Obama (still not over seeing the former FLOTUS channel her inner Sasha Fierce in honor of #BeyDay), this group of power women is #squadgoals.
The next time you go to SoulCycle, remember these six stages of class, as told by Beyoncé. Then after you're done, cuddle up and get some major life lessons from Bey's new 600-page book.
