Well+Good is happy to report that we’ve scouted the location for our next Well+Good Retreat, and it’s happening an easy two hours outside the Big Apple. The Cedar Lakes Estate in the Hudson River Valley will be our vacation home base for world-class yoga sessions and empowering workshops, led by two wellness luminaries. And just like last time, you can leave your beauty products at home—because we’ve got you covered.

This intimate wellness retreat, with about 40 people (who you’ll soon call friends), is designed and hosted by Well+Good co-founders Alexia Brue and Melisse Gelula and the Well+Good team, and it’s meant to bring all the goodness that you read about on Well+Good into action. After criss-crossing the globe as travel journalists, Alexia and Melisse tapped into their years of experience to put together a life-changing wellness getaway.

Everything is thought out, from the healthy foods that you’ll eat to the mindful meditations you’ll experience, so that you can leave feeling totally restored. “Your dedication in producing a spectacular inaugural retreat has left me more motivated, clear-minded, and connected,” one attendee said of our inaugural retreat at the Avalon Palm Springs in March. “I was able to connect with like-minded women on such a level that I know they will be lifetime friends and that is rare.”

Well+Good editors have scouted two wellness rockstars to lead our summer retreat

For the Cedar Lakes Estate retreat, we’ll be traveling with Beth Cooke and Lauren Bille who’ll be combining their expertise for a totally transformational experience. Beth, who was named one of Well+Good’s up-and-coming fitness instructors, will set daily yoga classes to killer playlists. Meanwhile, Lauren will help us to tap into our inner purpose and learn how to make empowered life decisions.

Your summer camp dreams, reimagined

Cedar Lakes Estate is literally a revamped summer camp, and the perfect setting for a wellness retreat. Picture rustic-chic cabins or private cottages with oversized bathrooms and fireplaces, a lantern-lit garden that’s the setting for dinners, and a glistening, forest-lined lake (cannon balls encouraged).
