4. Everyone should be a morning person
A new study showed that your brain actually slows down throughout the day, so if there was ever a reason to try to get the important stuff done earlier, this is it.
5. Continue to dismantle the patriarchy
Sexism is a ubiquitous part of life that women navigate daily—from environmental discomforts like the office temperature being set based on male metabolic rates to more obvious injustices like the wage gap and systemic issues like men being called on more than women…starting in grade school. So, if you have a question, comment, or concern (especially if your safety and health are at risk), be vocal! Your peers, confidence, and the future of your career will thank you.
