Do you have a burgeoning beauty brand that’s bound to shake up the industry? FounderMade is looking for you.

The year-and-a-half-old company, which seeks out start-ups and supports entrepreneurs through mentorship, corporate financing, and more, is hosting a Shark Tank-style pitch competition on October 7 (this is their third) called the Future of Beauty Challenge. Its goal? To find the next Juice Beauty or Red Flower—to name a couple of beauty juggernauts.

“This will be our second annual Beauty conference,” says co-founder May Lan Dong of FounderMade, which has also hosted summits on Wellness and Food attended by the industry’s who’s who. “What’s been so exciting for us is the innovation and the talent that we’re seeing. This is a way to explore what the future really looks like, and that’s the core of what FounderMade is all about.”

Think you’ve got what it takes? Here’s how to participate: Starting August 1, you can start submitting your online application and a short video (see good examples here) that pitches your company and shows why your concept is special. The deadline is 11:59 p.m. EST on Friday, September 16, 2016.

“As long as what you’re doing is new and innovative, and you can define what makes it so unique in the marketplace,” Dong says, you should apply. “We are looking for what makes it a brand that will stand the test of time.”

Here’s what happens next: From the applications, FounderMade will select the top 10 semifinalists, and on September 19 Well+Good will post them so readers can vote for their faves.

On September 26, FounderMade and Well+Good will post the top three finalists, and one will be chosen as the Well+Good Fan Favorite.

All three brands will go on to present their products at the Summit before a live audience and judges. Beauty luminaries Hayley Barna, co-founder of Birchbox, Moj Mahdara of Beautycon, and Melody McCloskey of StyleSeat will knight one winner, who’ll receive a cash prize and mentorship to further their business objectives.
