Traveling thrill seekers: Here’s how to get a bird’s-eye view of the Grand Canyon

Hiking the Grand Canyon is certainly an activity that’ll feed your wanderlusting soul, but this year, thrill seekers are in for a desert treat: It’s now possible to experience one of the country’s most beloved natural attractions from 1,000 feet up.

Reported by Travel + Leisure, the Grand Canyon Resort Corporation launched its zip line experience at the beginning of the year at the Hualapai Ranch, and it lets people fly over Grand Canyon West at speeds up to 50 miles per hour.

Whether you decide to soar alone or with a friend side by side, you can either travel at 1,100 feet or ascend higher (and get a steeper ride!) with the 2,100-foot course. Either way, you’ll see some pretty epic views—including the nearby Quartermaster Canyon—during the ride, which starts at $89 per person.
