Last week’s cosmic energy urged us to mindfully observe rather than act while the road shifts before us. We don’t always know what the right direction is to take in life, so sometimes sitting back in receptivity can be the very best course of action. While, cosmically speaking, the week ahead also brings a number changes, it also leaves us with more opportunities to uncover our innate navigational talents so we can gain greater access to our soul’s purpose. Basically, expect some major breakthroughs.
Starting at the top of the week, we have the Mars opposite Pluto transit. Mars, now in its last degrees of Cancer, represents how we express drive, ambition, and anger. And Pluto, now in Capricorn, represents the transformational power at our core. Before Mars moves into brave and passionate Leo on June 11th, he will use his sharp claws to pry open anything buried deep within our soul. If you become triggered, ask yourself why that might be the case. It could be that a current situation evokes a feeling much deeper within your psyche, which should be explored during this transit. Are recent interactions with your boss reminding you of a high school teacher who had it out for you, for instance? Whatever feelings or blocks are coming up for you, it’s a worthy exercise to introspect as to what they’re really about, at their core.
This transit also helps to lay the groundwork for the transformational power that comes with the solar eclipse in Gemini on June 10th. The sun and moon are together in Gemini, tripping the north node, known as our soul’s destination for learning. This axis was activated just recently, with the lunar eclipse in Sagittarius on May 26th, and one year prior, with the first eclipse on this axis on June 5th, 2020. And since then, we have seen core transformational power shifts in the United States and world, with a societal awakening to ongoing racial injustice, a tumultuous election season, and a riot at the Capitol, all set against the loss and grief associated with living amid a global pandemic.
With the Mars opposite Pluto transit this week, we are continuing to learn as a collective how to gather information about our core beliefs—even those upon which we disagree—while being hospitable to each other in the process. This upcoming solar eclipse in Gemini acts as our reset moment for the collective and provides a chance to knock back into what we know to be true: the resilience of the human spirit.
The influence of our Gemini north node will also inspire innovative and collaboration. Retrograde Saturn in Aquarius also supports the north node in a trine while simultaneously making a harmonious sextile connection to Chiron in Aries. This Saturnian influence reminds us of our responsibility to evolve and heal productively.
Just as the Aquarian water-bearer offers resources to her village, we, too, are all asked to use our unique skills for the benefit of all.
So, work to channel what was exposed within you at the top of the week, with the Mars opposite Pluto transit, to use your power to spark change.
