We are exiting out of July, a month that brought much fiery energy—the kind that, if you didn’t watch it and weren’t extra mindful, may have caused some arguments and situations that were quite intense or tumultuous. But through it all, these frictions were here serving us to initiate much-need realizations and change, creating the sparks that ignite transformation.
The energies of August now beckon us to stay very strong, grounded, and clear, to continue to step forward with any changes we implemented recently. Be anchored in your choices and do not retreat back to old patterns and ways.
The spirit animal who you can call upon to keep you persevering is the ant. Ant medicine is so divine, reminding us that mastery of patience in key areas of your life is everything.
You are at a pivotal moment in life right now, a time where you are literally ripping away from, and pivoting out from, old ways that previously held you back—and kept you playing small and bringing toxic situations or people into your life.
Keep plunging forward into your new path and new ways of behaving, and be consistent with your change. Don’t let the old, more “known” or more comfortable (simply because it’s how you did things for so long) sneakily pull you backwards. Stay strong and optimistic, knowing there is a much-enhanced way of living, feeling, and functioning that comes with the entirely new ways of doing things that you are bravely birthing. And with that, your season of stepping into long-awaited prayers being answered is coming!

Or is it more self-serving?” If it leans toward that self-serving side that’s okay, you just need to honestly let yourself see that and then see how you can enhance or uplevel your goal to a place where it also brings something positive to the community or world, too. Make your goal one that brings power to the planet!
August is a juicy, powerful month where your willingness to evolve and be more mindful of the collective (or the oneness of all that is)—and your ability to remain steadfast in walking toward your visions—will pay off generously.
And as we create from these new energy systems within us, healing, clearing, and activating your sacral chakra is also a key element for August. Dive into a creative expression or art you’ve been neglecting. Take a healing bath with beautiful salts, flowers, oils or crystals. Sit near a body of water during the new or full moon, and allow yourself to fully, freely feel—all of these practices will assist in your sacral chakra opening and being in healthy sync with your mind, body, and soul and your other chakras.
