TBH, I've never been a huge sweatpants-gal. I know, I know. I wore them religiously growing up as a swimmer, riding low over a Speedo, but since then I've always opted for a classic black legging as my comfy day pant of choice. And then quarantine happened, and can I just say... I take it all back! Outdoor Voices has officially converted me to become a wearer of stylish sweats. This ever-buzzy activewear brand has taken their signature color-block look to a new set of athleisure that's been totally 2020-ified for looking good while WFH. The fashion industry has experienced a major overhaul since the start of COVID-19. Comfort and style are merging like never before. With everyone looking high and low for perfectly tailored, stylish loungewear that is soft enough to go from day to night (i.e. working from the kitchen table all day, over to the couch to finish The Crown in one sitting), I couldn't be more grateful to Outdoor Voices for this launch.

What first drew me to the color-blocked, tapered jogger is the slim-fit tailoring. Big and baggy doesn't define cozy anymore. The Pickup Jogger, made in plush, soft cotton terry has just enough give that it makes you feel like you're not wearing actual pants (or what we call hard clothes); however, the pair isn't loosey-goosey enough that you feel like in two washes the bottoms will lose their shape. Thank you, sweatsuit gods!

Now let's style them! With so many new varieties when it comes to sweatpants, there is no scarcity of items to pair them with. See: leather jackets, cropped tees, cozy turtlenecks, chunky sneaks, or even a statement trench. Though the set comes in a sleek Black as well, I'm opting for the Dove and Bone color-block sweatsuit myself and pairing the pants with either the Pickup Hoodie ($98) or the Pickup 1/4 Zip Sweatshirt ($88) for the full athleisure meets street style look.
