Phew, we made it through what feels like the longest January ever, and—needless to say—we’re looking forward to February. Luckily, there’s a lot to look forward to in the beauty aisle this month, whether you’re in the process of revamping your routine or—honestly—just need a pick-me-up.
February’s batch of beauty launches includes lots of newness (like body wash and shampoo) to upgrade your shower routine and new makeup releases that’ll become instant favorites. Ahead, we’re diving into our favorite new February beauty launches that are worth a spot on your radar (and in your carts).
February’s Launches We Love
If one of your 2025 beauty goals is rehabilitating damaged nails, get this in your toolkit. The one-swipe strengthener is formulated with European Larch Wood to help prevent your nails from chipping and breaking. Of course, you have to use it regularly for best results, but a few coats on bare nails two to three times a week can make a huge difference. It leaves a nice glow so you can wear it alone, but you can also layer your favorite colored polish on top.
If you aren’t hip to press-on lashes, let me hold your hand when I say this: stop fighting with strips, glue, etc., and get on this format ASAP. The clusters come pre-glued and sit underneath your lash line versus on top. Each packet comes with an applicator for ease. Just plop the clusters under your lash and press with the applicator to ensure it sticks. What’s more, the removal process eliminates the need to rub and tug at your natural lashes—just peel them off and go about your life.
Olay’s newest body wash combines all of the foamy, luxurious goodness we love in a body wash with super hydrating skincare ingredients including niacinamide, BHAs, collagen peptides, and vitamins C and E, so you don’t have to worry about your skin feeling like sandpaper when you get out of the shower. In addition to feeling super silky as you massage it in, this one has notes of vanilla and woody florals making it a real sensorial treat.
I’m a gel girl through and through, and one of my pet peeves is getting my hands and nails goopy every time I do my hair. This spray gel creatively solves that problem, misting out a flexible hold formula that defines and locks in curls. The lightweight nature of this formula and spritz delivery makes it perfect for looser curls and waves, so you can spray directly to your hair, comb through, or scrunch. While my type three and four curls usually require a thicker gel on wash day, this one is perfect for me to touch up coils throughout the week without having to restyle my entire head.
On the topic of curls, mine are super dry, so I’m always on the hunt for products with ingredients that quench my thirsty hair every step of my routine. At first,I was a bit skeptical about a shampoo bar, but this one has been a complete game-changer for me. It’s a solid bar formulated with hyaluronic acid, glycerin, and argan oil to hydrate and cleanse.
It’s super easy to use: just suds it up in your hands and massage it through your scalp. I wash my hair frequently (I use a lot of styling products), and this makes it easy to wash everything out when I need a blank canvas without drying my hair. The best part? This lasts me much longer than a standard bottle of shampoo, which is a great value considering how much I wash my hair.
Sienna Naturals recently released a new density-boosting serum designed to support a healthy scalp. The water-based formula comes with a dropper applicator so you can get the good stuff directly on your scalp. Made with biotin, aloe vera, and rosemary extract, it’s the perfect cocktail to soothe and stimulate the scalp, promoting a healthier environment for your hair to thrive.
In this dry, frigid weather, I’m pulling out all the stops to stop my skin from feeling like thirsty: skincare and slugging, yes, but also a humidifier. We’re already fans of Canopy in my household (we use the humidifier in our toddler’s room), but I love this recent collab with Dr. Shereene Idriss, which packages a mini Canopy humidifier and three exclusive fragrances to enhance your aromatherapy experience. I’ve been keeping this at my desk to keep moisture in the air while I work, but it’s also a great option for traveling and when you’re on the go.
I haven’t been able to put down KraveBeauty’s new lip jelly since all four colors landed on my desk. The latest from the brand comes in versatile shades: Iced Persimmon (a punchy orange), Guava Blush (a juicy pink and my personal favorite), Cherry Cola (a deep burgundy), and Acai Dream (a berry violet). The smooth and hydrating formula gives just the right amount of color and looks good on a wide range of skin tones. I’ve been keeping this in my bag and desk for touch-ups, and I love how soft and smooth it feels on my lips.
Benefit recently launched a new mascara formula that’ll earn cult-favorite status. It’s made with an olive oil wax that gives your lashes a bouncy, jet-black coat so they look fuller instantly. What’s really cool is the dual-sided brush, which has a firm fine-tooth comb on one side and fiber bristles so you can lift, curl, and separate your lashes for a fluttery finish.
Fans of the floral fragrance family will love the latest from Dossier, dropping just in time for Valentine’s Day. It’s equally floral and fruity, with top notes of lychee, blackcurrant, and grapefruit. Then, it blooms into a heart of rose, plum, and nutmeg before drying to an amber and vetiver base.
Yankee Candle’s new Hello, Italy! Collection features five new fragrant options to transport your senses to the Amalfi Coast. Lemon Gelato is my favorite from the bunch and smells like a bite from a fancy iced dessert. The candle has top notes of iced lemon, lime, and black currant, and the middle is decadent with hints of strawberry and marshmallow before melting down to vanilla and sugared citrus.
Victoria Beckham Beauty's latest color cosmetic launch is Eye Wardrobe, a new refillable palm-sized eyeshadow palette with everything you need for a bold (or subtle) eye on the go. It comes in five different color options, including buttery, blendable matte, and shimmer eyeshadows. Each color is super pigmented and can be used wet or dry with your favorite eyeshadow brush (or your fingers, tbh).
An acne-fighting cleanser is always my first line of defense for breakouts, so I'm super excited to try this one out. Formulated with four percent benzoyl peroxide and exfoliating lipo-hydroxy acid, this one will treat existing acne and help prevent new breakouts from forming. If your skin is on the drier side this might be a bit too potent for your skin, but if you're on the oilier, acne-prone side (like moi), you'll probably love this.
The latest from Dibs is where a plumping gloss meets a tinted balm. Available in five different shades (cool pink, warm mauve, pink rose, caramel nude, rich brown, and baby blue), each swipe will deliver a subtle but buildable wash of color that melts into your lips, leaving them feeling plump and soft like a new pillow.
This is an honest, reliable pick if you're looking for a reliable eye cream formula that'll keep you hydrated in the cooler months (and year-round). Its ingredients list is simple and packed with peptides, squalane, and shea butter to hydrate and soothe the under-eye area without causing irritation.
Okay—you're probably thinking that $180 for a face oil is absurd, which—in this economy—I totally get, but hear me out: think of it like one of those fancy investment pieces in your closet, but for your face. I was lucky enough to experience the oil in real-time at the hands of a facial at New York City's swanky Casa Cipriani spa and 1) was snoring a few minutes in (sorry to my facialist) and 2) woke up feeling renewed, relaxed, and snatched (making it totally worth the hefty price tag, IMO).
It's formulated with a luxurious blend of meadowfoam, moringa, castor, and camellia oils that feels like an expensive, silky hug for your face. While you can massage this in and go about your night, I encourage you to spend some time massaging with your hands (or gua sha stone) to get the blood flowing and for a really luminous, glowy finish.
Six weeks of consistency with this serum is all you need before you start seeing a noticeable difference in the appearance of your dark spots. It's formulated with key ingredients for fading hyperpigmentation and brightening the skin, including tranexamic acid, niacinamide, and licorice extract. At the same time, it also has centella, allantoin, and panthenol to soothe the skin (a bonus if you struggle with inflamed acne). I've been using this for almost three weeks now and love how my skin feels more radiant after use. What's more? It'll only run you $12, making it super affordable to stick to your brightening routine.
My shower time is sacred, so having the right body washes, treatments, tools, etc., is a non-negotiable, evolving process. I recently discovered this brand, Dwell212, which offers body lotion, body wash, hand soap, and fragrance mist to really create a fragrance experience in and out of the bathroom. I've been spending time with the citrus-scented wash, which is equal parts juicy and energizing, and on a steamy shower day, my bathroom gives me a burst of energy. On top of that, the formula works up a foamy lather and doesn't make my skin feel dry once I rinse. Every item in the Dwell212 line also comes in three additional scents: cucumber, lavender, and petals, so you can mix and match them as you please.
