Minimalists rejoiced when the one-stop online shop Brandless first launched its line of quality, nondescript household goods—from non-GMO snacks to responsibly sourced office supplies—for less than the price of a latte. Now, the brand is taking aim at your beauty regimen, offering clean options—all of which cost a mere $3.

Not only are the products in their line affordable, but they’re all made without parabens, phthalates, and other toxic ingredients you likely already avoid on the reg. “We banned 400-plus potentially harmful ingredients and replaced them with plant-based powerhouses like aloe, citrus, and green tea,” says Brandless co-founder Tina Sharkey. “We [also] made sure our products work on every type of skin and every type of hair.”
Currently, the line consists of everything from sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner to body lotion to facial cleanser. It also includes a handful of bathroom accessories that you don’t think about (until you run out), such as cotton rounds and hand soap.
According to Brandless, personal care products often have a “brand tax” on them that has the potential to raise prices by up to 370 percent—and people could even be regularly paying a markup of 40 percent on everyday goods.
