The perfect gym bag might be the biggest enigma of modern times. Seriously. But, there may be a carryall solution to the rescue: Sports bags and accessories brand Caraa is teaming up with Athleta, the brand behind workout jeans, for a line of three chic and utilitarian gym bags.
The collection is sold exclusively on Athleta’s website and in stores, with the bags and two pouches retailing from $58 to $138. The next-gen options for your active lifestyle include a yoga mat bag (so obvious yet so genius), a tote that can handle said yoga mat, and the crowning achievement of the collection, a backpack ($138) that is basically the Swiss Army knife of athletic bags.
The backpack is somehow big enough to include a dedicated compartment for your shoes and a separate main section for you clothing—but, most importantly, it has a detachable pouch that can be fashioned as a fanny pack for the aesthetically adventurous (they really are back, guys) or as a crossbody purse.
I know it seems like a small thing (and the pouch really is) but imagine the freedom of not having to pack both a purse and a gym bag. What. A. World.
