This device is basically like a handheld facial.
To use the tool, you start by washing your face with the cleanser of your choice to remove all the makeup and oil that’s on your face. You’re meant to keep your face wet throughout the entire treatment, so when you rinse off the cleanser, don’t pat your face dry like you usually do. Instead, grab the Dermapore device and press the button on it one time—a white light will appear and this lets you know that the device is in extract mode. During extract mode, start to glide the spatula over your skin, paying close attention to areas where you know that you have clogged pores.
The Dermapore device uses ultrasonic vibrations to help dislodge the oil, dirt, and blackheads that accumulate on skin and can lead to breakouts down the line. As you use it, you can even see some of the gunk coming out of your skin and onto the metal tip (ewww!) so that you know in real time it’s working. Once you’ve gone over the areas, you can tell that skin is visibly clearer of debris.
When you’re ready to move onto the next step, you clear the tip, using alcohol and a cotton swap to clean the device. Then, dry your face and apply the serum or moisturizer of your choosing to your complexion. Press the button on the device twice and you’ll see a blue light, which means that you’re in the infuse mode. You’ll start to feel little tapping motions that are meant to indicate that it’s pressing the ingredients into your complexion.
In mimicking the motions of a facial by extracting gunk from your face and then pressing ingredients deep within to give you the effects that you want.
