As the weather finally warms up, swimwear collections are being released right and left. But while there’s no shortage of chic options available, what about functional suits for your sporty surf getaway? Well, Lululemon’s swimsuits are actually some of the most functional around (even if they are still overshadowed in fitness studios by the brand’s cult-favorite leggings). And, good news for your upcoming active beachy getaway: The company just expanded its offerings with the launch of a new surf-wear collection. Bonus: The pieces are surprisingly affordable.
The brand collaborated with one of its Elite Ambassadors, professional surfer Malia Manuel, to create a collection that includes three functional surf- and swimwear pieces—a bikini top, a bottom, and a long-sleeve one-piece—all made with quick-drying, chlorine-and-salt-resistant fabric that has UV protection. Now available online and in stores, the items were inspired by Manuel’s mindful approach to surfing and the way the sport helps her connect to the natural elements, according to a press release. So basically, get ready to hang ten in style.
