Molly Sims may just be the most down-to-Earth supermodel on the planet, despite having attained everything she’s ever wanted in life. The Kentucky-born babe still speaks with a sweet Southern accent, which is certainly part of her charm, but she also has a way of making you feel like you’ve known her for ages. When I call her to chat her up about all-things beauty, she answers the phone by enthusiastically exclaiming, “Hi, Erin Bunch!” Could you just die?

If you follow Sims on social media or have read her books (The Everyday Supermodel  or Everyday Chic), you’re likely aware that her beauty knowledge runs as deep as her Southern roots. Almost immediately, the busy mother of three tells me that her main priority is to make sure she appears as though she’s well-rested. “I do absolutely everything I can to hydrate my skin because of my lack of sleep,” she tells me. “Mom problems, am I right?”

I don’t have kids, but I can certainly relate to the need to manufacture a glow. Here, how Sims does it with a bright-eyed beauty routine.

“I’m so frequently on shoots and that means I have layers of makeup on,” Sims explains. “I swear by micellar water to remove my makeup. It really gets it all off.”

“This mascara is one of my drugstore staples,” she tells me. “It’s an oldie but a goodie.”

“If you talk to any dermatologist or facialist, they’ll tell you that you need to incorporate a brightening Vitamin C serum into your skin routine,” says Sims. “This Glossier version energizes my skin and makes me look awake—which is an effect we all need.”

“This mask has literally saved my skin during these past couple of months of travel. I’ve been on so many planes promoting my book, and it’s kept my skin hydrated and baby soft,” she says. “Sometimes, I also like to add water to it and use it as a cleanser. Momma loves a little two-for-one.”

Talika Eye Therapy Patches, $69

“I came across these Talika eye patches through my makeup artist, and I’m hooked. Whenever I have an event and am exhausted, I pop these guys on and I instantly look refreshed and ready,” she says. “I take them with me on the plane, wear them before a photoshoot—they pretty much come with me everywhere.”

Georgia Louise Sleeping Beauty Oil, $105

“This stuff is pure magic!” Sims exclaims. “The oil is enriched with vitamins and antioxidants so that when you wake up, after having slathered it on at night, your skin looks radiant. When I use it with the Georgia Louise rose quartz butterfly stone, it does far more than that, too. The stone reduces puffiness in my face and helps smooth my fine lines and—dare I say it—wrinkles.”

Ilia Polka Dots and Moonbeams Highlighter, $34

“Sometimes highlighters can make me look a little too shiny, but this one is just perfect,” explains Sims. “I heat it up on the back of my wrist and then blend it on my cheekbones and nose. It lasts all day and gives the perfect sheen.”
