I have dry skin, so I don’t like using products that cake onto skin or that require powder to stay put. This concealer has a gorgeous satin finish, so unlike matte concealers, it doesn’t cake or make my skin look dry or tight. Plus, once I put it on, it doesn’t budge or crease. When looking for a concealer to use on dry skin, pros recommend seeking out formulas that contain hydrating ingredients, and this one’s got vitamin E to help moisturize skin while it brightens and conceals.
It’s available in 30 shades with a variety of undertones, and I’ve got two of them in my personal collection. Most days, I use a color a few shades lighter than my complexion to add some brightness under my eyes, along the bridge of my nose, and on my forehead; and a color that matches my complexion to cover up any dark spots and redness. I blend it out with my fingers, then add a bit of cream blush, mascara, and brow products before topping it all off with setting spray. And just like that, I’m ready for the day in less than five minutes.
Although the formula is great for achieving a natural look, it’s also amazing any time you want to go full glam. It provides medium, buildable coverage, so you can decide exactly what type of look you’re going for as you layer it on. On days when I do decide to wear it with other complexion products, I like to apply it on top of my foundation then blend it out with a damp beauty sponge.
