Now that I don’t have to worry about humidity wrecking my blowout, I’m wearing my hair straight. But, there’s still one area that I have to watch out for—the shower. The Shhhowercap is made from a nano-tech fabric that repels water, meaning that water beads up and rolls off the second it hits the outside, so it doesn’t ever get wet and gross the way many other shower caps do. The fabric is also anti-microbial, so you don’t have to worry about mold or mildew. Plus, it’s breathable, keeping water and humidity out without feeling like it’s suffocating my scalp. This gives it an additional one-up on plastic shower caps, which trap heat and can make you sweat out your style if your head gets warm in the shower.
