“To me, it feels less crunchy hippie and more 1992 Lithuanian All-Star basketball, which obviously coincides with the current ’90s obsession,” says stylist Rachael Wang, whose editorial work includes styling athleisure fashion maven Kendall Jenner.

“Tie-dye was all over the Spring ‘18 runways from luxury heavy hitters like Burberry, Chanel, and Loewe to cult streetwear brand Gosha Rubchinskiy,” she continues. “Even purveyors of minimalism Lemaire departed from their usual solid neutrals to test out watercolors.”
