Tracy Anderson’s one-woman campaign to change Big Food

How do you become the empress of the wellness world? Start by having an extremely buzzy BFF-like celebrity clientele, then create a super-loyal following via a plethora of fitness studios, and launch not one but two different food lines.

This, of course, is the the leader of the #TAmily, dance cardio OG Tracy Anderson.

Aside from co-running 3 Green Hearts with Gwyneth Paltrow, creating an available-at-Target line of bars and shakes, and opening a mega-studio space on New York City’s Upper East Side (among other locations), this summer Anderson also launched her own Sirius XM radio show, The Tracy Anderson Show, and appears on this month’s cover of Modern Luxury’s Beach Magazine.

And Anderson, never one to shy away from potential controversy, shares some choice words on the hypocrisy of Big Food CEOs in her cover story.

“My focus now is on educating people on the quality of food, encouraging or maybe even shamelessly begging those who can afford to support organic farming to shop only with that standard to help move the needle in the right direction from the top,” says Anderson, who recently launched two new flavors of her organic TA Clear bars. “We all deserve access to healthy food instead of the dirt-cheap processed chemicals of processed food company CEOs who drive Teslas while they are poisoning their consumers.”

Oh snap. If Anderson has her way, maybe eating healthy on a food-stamp budget is about to get a lot easier.
