Moroccanoil’s New Spritzable Scent Is the Ultimate Refresh for Sweaty Summer Skin and Hair
I, along with presumably zillions of other Moroccanoil-scent-devotees, have lamented the brand’s lack of spritzable scent—that is, until now. The brand, which acknowledges that a fragrance mist has been fans’ most highly-requested product, recently released the Brumes du Maroc Hair & Body Fragrance Mist ($32).
As the name implies, it’s a scented mist that allows for spraying oneself in a head-to-toe fashion with Moroccanoil’s signature scent. It can be used on hair, skin, and clothes—which means that my dream of dousing myself in the aroma has finally come true.
The mist packs the same scrumptious scent as the other Moroccanoil products, and contains nourishing ingredients like the brand's signature argan oil and antioxidant-rich vitamin E. For this reason, the mist is more than just a treat for the senses; it’s also somewhat of a hydrating, softening treatment for skin and hair. (Note: most traditional fragrances contain ingredients that can be drying to skin and hair.) Also of note is the addition of a UV-absorbing ingredient, which can presumably help maintain vibrant hair color for longer.
The product dispenses as a fine, lightweight, and entirely non-greasy mist, making it ideal for sweaty summer months. In addition to its lightweight finish, the mist feels refreshing as it settles into my skin. A few spritzes leave my hair and body with a subtle sheen and divine smell for a few hours. Once it wears off, or I’m in need of a re-up, I simply spay it again.

If you swoon over the scent of Moroccanoil as much as I do, you’ll love this mist. After all, it enables you to reignite an unparalleled olfactory experience anytime, anywhere, and on virtually any part of your body. I’ve already found myself toting it around my apartment, spritzing here and there. I’d be lying if I said I hadn’t used it to freshen up when I’m feeling sweaty—which, TBH is a lot of the time in the summer. The Brume de Maroc comes in a large 3.4 oz size as well as a mini 1 oz size. I currently have the larger one (would recommend it for mega-fans), but I might just get a mini size to throw in my purse, too. Now that it’s really, truly possible to scent my life with Moroccanoil, why wouldn’t I?
