One of the things I love about living in 2021 is that people wear sneakers with everything—jeans, leggings, cocktail dresses, the list goes on. However, whether you, personally, subscribe to the “sneakers go with everything” mantra or not, having a pair of shoes that goes with everything takes the guesswork out of getting dressed. And given that comfort is a key priority in this equation, sneakers fit the bill.

If sustainable and minimalist are two words that describe your style, Everlane’s everyday sneaker checks those boxes and more. Just because the shoe has cushion and is comfortable when you try them on does not mean that they will be comfortable when standing or walking in them,” says Dr. Bochat, who adds the Vionic brand offers good arch support.

Clarks Craft Run Lace — $140.00

Both Dr. Bochat and Dr. Lee approve of Clarks shoes since they’re super supportive and come in a ton of different styles. The Craft Run Lace sneakers, which are made with suede and leather, may look heavy, but they are actually lightweight while still giving you some slip-preventing grip.
